Here are some factors to consider for each option: **Company for Scalp Micropigmentation Artists:** 1. **Specialization:** A team of artists can specialize in different aspects of SMP, such as hairline design, pigment mixing, or post-treatment care. This specialization can lead to a more comprehensive and customized result. 2. **Efficiency:** Multiple artists can work simultaneously, potentially reducing the time required for the procedure. This might be advantageous for those with a tight schedule. 3. **Diverse Expertise:** Different artists may bring various techniques and experiences to the table, which can result in a more versatile approach to SMP. 4. **Backup:** In case of unexpected scheduling conflicts, illness, or emergencies, having a team of artists can provide backup options to ensure your treatment isn’t delayed. 5. No Risk:  The company will guarantee your procedure in writing and will not just take your money and run. **One Scalp Micropigmentation Artist:** 1. **Consistency:** With a single artist, consistency can not be measured. 2. **Personalized Attention:** You will only receive the attention he wants to provide.  No standards. 3. **Scheduling:** Appointments and scheduling could be difficult as he may work when he wants to. 4. **Cost:** The cost of the procedure might be lower when working with one artist, but we all know you get what you pay for. Ultimately, the choice between “the guy on the corner”  and a SMP Clinic depends on your risk tolerance and the specific requirements of your SMP procedure. You should research and consult with artists or clinics to discuss your goals, assess their skills and experience, and determine which approach aligns best with your expectations. #### Share this [Share on Twitter](https://twitter.com/share?url=https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/best-smp-artists&text=Best%20SMP%20Artist?%20|%20Good%20Look%20Ink‎) [Share on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/best-smp-artists&t=Best%20SMP%20Artist?%20|%20Good%20Look%20Ink‎) [Share on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/best-smp-artists&t=Best%20SMP%20Artist?%20|%20Good%20Look%20Ink‎) Previous story [← Achieving the Perfect Scalp Micropigmentation at Good Look Ink Miami](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/achieving-the-perfect-scalp-micropigmentation-at-good-look-ink-miam) Next story [Good Look Ink Boosts Confidence with Scalp Micropigmentation →](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/good-look-ink-boosts-confidence-with-scalp-micropigmentation) ### You May Also Like These Related Stories [What makes a GREAT SMP Scalp Micropigmentation Artist?](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/18291-2) [Article](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/tag/article) #### What makes a GREAT SMP Scalp Micropigmentation Artist? 07/24/2024 3 min read [7 Tips for Identifying a Credible SMP Provider](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/7-tips-for-identifying-a-credible-smp-provider) [Article](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/tag/article) #### 7 Tips for Identifying a Credible SMP Provider 07/23/2024 4 min read [Discover the Premier Scalp Micropigmentation Solution at Good Look Ink Minneapolis](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/discover-the-premier-scalp-micropigmentation-solution-at-good-look-ink-minneapolis) [Locations](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/tag/locations) #### Discover the Premier Scalp Micropigmentation Solution at Good Look Ink Minneapolis 08/23/2023 2 min read ### No Comments Yet Let us know what you think [![logo-gli-1000x500-white](https://www.goodlookink.com/hs-fs/hubfs/logo-gli-1000x500-white.png?width=200&height=100&name=logo-gli-1000x500-white.png "logo-gli-1000x500-white")](https://www.goodlookink.com) [8009 34th Ave South, 12th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55425, USA](https://maps.app.goo.gl/cDSMTEcrzKzfZ8G7A) - [Home](https://www.goodlookink.com) - [About](https://www.goodlookink.com/about) - [Mens Treatments](https://www.goodlookink.com/treatments) - [Womens Treatments](https://www.goodlookink.com/women-treatments) - [The GLI Difference](https://www.goodlookink.com/the-gli-difference) - [Gallery](https://www.goodlookink.com/gallery) - [Testimonials](https://www.goodlookink.com/testimonials) - [Financing](https://www.goodlookink.com/apply-for-credit) - [SMP Institute](https://www.smpinstituteusa.com/) - [Blog](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog) - [FAQ's](https://www.goodlookink.com/faqs) - [News and Press](https://www.goodlookink.com/blog/tag/in-the-press) - [Careers](https://www.goodlookink.com/careers) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.goodlookink.com/privacy-policy) - [Terms of Use](https://www.goodlookink.com/terms-of-use) - Sitemap - [Make A Payment](https://api.ipospays.com/v1/sl/00Y420423f5B15vr0) - [SMP Training Institute](https://www.smpinstituteusa.com/) - [Become an Affiliate](https://www.goodlookink.com/affiliates) - [Become a Franchisee](https://www.goodlookink.com/franchise) - [952-378-1778](tel:952-378-1778) - [Toll Free Number](tel:(833-466-3566)) - [info@GoodLookInk.com](mail:info@GoodLookInk.com) Copyright 2026 Good Look, Ink. Minneapolis, MN [info@goodlookink.com](mailto:info@goodlookink.com) [952-378-1778](tel:952-378-1778) \*DISCLAIMER: Suitability, effectiveness of certain treatment and cosmetic results will vary from patient to patient.
